  • Helps ensure all site personnel, that are in the scope of the certification, are knowledgeable on the firm Quality Policy and Quality Goals.

  • Tracks the team’s performance against Quality Goals.

  • Helps identify areas for improvement and ensures the standard processes remain compliant to the appropriate standards and relevant for the type of work we do. As appropriate, assists with documenting process improvement proposals.

  • Responsible for verifying that all appropriate personnel complete the appropriate training for their function(s) that they perform. Verifies changes in weekly training reports, quarterly headcounts, and site new hires (and transitioning personnel) to ensure all personnel are trained.

  • Helps to ensure all functions applicable to the site (government property, purchasing, receiving, quality control, design, fabrication and assembly, lab [to include electrostatic discharge; inspection, measuring, and test equipment; limited life items, hazardous material; and foreign object debris], contracts, etc.) are operating according to the QMS by means of guidance and monitoring.

  • Ensures Quality Control Inspectors are performing their tasking in conformance with the QMS and project needs.

  • Tracks projects, including any strategic initiatives. Maintain relevant site data.

  • Assists with assessment and mitigation of project risk at start-up and throughout the lifecycle of all projects. Typically, this is accomplished via review of the Project Management Plan and associated appendices for completeness and thoroughness.

  • Supports the Project Manager by ensuring participation in Quality and Risk Reviews when a trigger(s) is identified during the opportunity phase or during project execution, or when an issue/event occurs.

  • Helps to verify that document deliverables are reviewed for adequacy of technical content while remaining independent of the document production process.

  • Oversees scheduling and managing the conduct of initial and periodic project reviews with a focus on schedule, financial, technical and contractual execution. Asks relevant questions to ensure the project is properly planned and executing accordingly to meet all contractual requirements. Ensures action items are assigned, tracked and completed.

  • Stores client feedback (e.g., Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System [CPARS], compliments [kudos], complaints) and ensures client complaints are properly dispositioned with management and via the QMS processes

  • Provides local pre-audit coordination and support, and ensures all personnel and the facility is prepared for an audit at all points in time. Provides escorts for auditors, reserves conference rooms, schedules opening and closing meetings, and other sessions with participants, and attends audits (and any other functions to ensure smooth operations for the audit)

  • Ensures proper follow-up on audit findings and observations, including root cause analyses, containment, corrective, and preventive action plans as appropriate. Ensures all required audit finding follow-up actions are accomplished and objective evidence is stored

  • Performs inspection on hardware and system products and prototypes at defined steps during fabrication, assembly, or integration, performs required inspection to ensure the item conforms to requirements (which may be drawings).

  • Helps ensure that upon receipt of purchased materials or products, the receiving and inspection functions are performed to ensure the item conforms to purchase order requirements. This includes ensuring that all required certificates and test data are included.
